Chel Bella first opened its doors May of 2005 in coastal Hingham, Massachusetts and since then has become an anchor to Hingham Square. Named after the original founder Chelsea Orr, Chel Bella brought cutting edge designers to the South Shore.

Purchasing Chel Bella in 2020 allowed Lisa Lennon the opportunity to continue the over 25 year legacy. My team and I are so excited to share the confidence and joy brought by putting on a stylish, perfectly fitted outfit.

Meet Our Owner Lisa Lennon

I dreamed of being in fashion since I was a little girl. My favorite part of summer vacations was pouring over the back to school catalogs and creating the perfect outfit for the first day back.

Originally from Seattle, I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and hoped to be hired as a buyer for Nordstrom after graduation. Following a short stint in corporate America, I moved to Sydney, Australia to get my master's degree in international business & law.

While in Australia, I worked at a women's clothing boutique in Sydney and fell in love with the effortless yet chic style of Australian fashion. Upon graduating, I met with Australian fashion houses and created a business plan for a boutique in America that was inspired by Australian style. Tempted by the familiarity of the corporate world, I ended up in the food industry. This career path brought me to upstate New York, where I met my future husband.

After we married, we decided to settle in his hometown of Cohasset, Massachusetts. I instantly fell in love with Chel Bella. I can still remember popping into the boutique an hour before leaving for a trip to Nantucket and Chel Bella styled two gorgeous looks for me in under five minutes.
